Psaki The youngest of three children was born in Stamford in Connecticut to Eileen (nee Dolan), Medvey[8] and Dimitrios (Greek) R. Psaki. Dimitrios, a retired real-estate developer was the father of Eileen, who had emigrated from Greece in 1904. His grandmother was of Irish descent. She was married to her parents in 1976. Psaki is also descended from Polish origins. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. In 2000, she earned a College of William & Mary degree in English and Sociology. She is a part of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki was who was a William & Mary backstroke swimmer, was a member of the William & Mary Tribe Athletic team for two seasons. Psaki started her professional career in 2001, as a re-election candidate for the U.S. Senate of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack. Psaki then became John Kerry's press secretary. Psaki was also communications director to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and was the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until 2006. MSNBC has announced that Psaki will work as an analyst in the 2022 United States elections and during the 2024 presidential election. In 2023, she will host a show for MSNBC's Peacock streaming channel.
