 KyraMinturn Sedgwickwas born on 19th August, 1965 is an American actor. Her most well-known role is her character as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick won an Emmy Award in 2010 and an Emmy Award in 2010 and a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. After the seventh season Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in 2010. The show ended on August 13th on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick is also famous for her role in the show as Madeline Wuntch, on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
